At the Orange County Championships on Saturday in Mission Viejo, California, Garrett Corcoran of Villa Park High School won the 1600 meter run in a new US #1 time of 4:06.00. It was the third straight PR race for Corcoran in a major meet after running a 1:52 800 at the Mt. SAC Relays and 8:52 3200 at the Arcadia Invitational earlier in April. (Photo by Mary Ann Magnant)
