Tretez Kinnaird Wins USATF Junior Nationals, Qualifies for Worlds

Former Butler great Tretez Kinnaird won the USATF Junior National Championship in Eugene in 1:48.01 in the 800m Run.  The World Championships start July 22nd in Eugene, Oregon.  This will be Tretez's 2nd World Championship for Team USA, he was a member of the IAAF World Youth Championship in France in 2011.  

Kinnaird was a multiple time state champion in the 800m while in high school as well as the fastest high school 800m in Kentucky ever.  His freshman year at Indiana University he was an Indoor All-American in the Distance Medley Relay.
