8. Two 18 foot jumps in the pole vault 3 days apart - Devin King

Quite fitting, Devin King was crowned king of the pole vault with his US indoor national record mark of 17 feet 10.25 inches at New Balance Indoor Nationals. To add to his already unruly dominance, King beat the entire field by more than 16 inches! That summer the Louisiana native placed 4th at the IAAF World Junior Championships to tie his PR with a jump of 18 feet even, three days after jumping that same height at the Dauphin Street Vault.
