Video Diary: HS Pro Alana Hadley's 20-Mile Tempo Run

<p> Alana Hadley, a high school senior in North Carolina, is also rare marathon runner at her age with a 2 hour 41 minute best and ultimate goal of qualifying for a future Olympic team. Alana will be sharing a video diary with MileSplit and Flotrack over this coming year of her ups and downs in her training and running pursuits.</p>

Alana Hadley, a senior at Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, is the second-fastest junior marathoner in American history. She ran her best time of 2:38.34 to win the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon this past fall and is the youngest qualifier for next year's Olympic Trials in the distance.

Loop 2: 3 miles in 18:03 (6:00, 6:01, 6:02) for 35:57 at 6 miles
Loop 3: 3 miles in 18:01 (6:02, 6:00, 5:59) for 53:58 at 9 miles
Loop 4: 3 miles in 18:00 (6:03, 6:02, 5:55) for 1:11:58 at 12 miles
