The boys team race should be very exciting, with Cumberland Valley coming off of a great race at the Carlisle Invite. On the girls side, Two teams have the best chance of winning this 40-team race. PA#1 EMMAUS (2007 AAA PA STATE CHAMPION) is certainly the favorite and PA #2 CUMBERLAND VALLEY, who won in 2007 and has two 2nd place finishes this year at Gettysburg and Carlisle has a good shot.

Many New Jersey teams will get their only preview of the state championship course at Holmdel Park. Most notably Doug Smith will make his season debut. West Windsor-Plainsboro North, led by sup-soph, Joe Rosa should be a full strength for the first time this year. The Varsity C race, which includes NJ #5 Millburn and #8 Mendham, also features an interesting individual battle between Tyler Udland (Jr., Millburn) and Brett Johnson (Sr., Ocean City). Johnson looks to get rolling, having been slowed by some early-season injuries. On the girls side, NJ #1 Voorhees (D Race) and #2 Toms River North (A Race) will both comptete, but not head-to-head. Freshman Kristen Traub, an age group phenom, who has two invitational wins in as many tries, takes her first shot at Holmdel in the F Race.
