Chris Solinsky, newly-minted 10k American Rec. holder, to sign autographs @ Nike store in Palo Alto

Chris Solinsky, Nike, ran an unexpected American Record in the 10000 meters to become the first American under 27 mintutes, with a time of 26:59.60.  Galen Rupp, Nike, finished 4th in the race, also under the old mark with a time of 27:10.74.  The record, 27:13.98 by Meb Keflezighi, had stood since 2001.
