Jackson Invitational, MI - Omar Kaddurah, Grand Blanc MI, scored an impressive win with a time of 15:45.90.  Eric Fegan, Pinckney MI, was 2nd in 15:53.10.  Gabrielle Anzalone, Grand Blanc MI, was the girls winner with a time of 17:39.21.  

 

 

Cougar Falcon Invitational, MI - Ali Wiersma, Allendale MI, won the girls falcon race with an impressive 17:56.90.  The Rockford girls won big in the cougar race with 28 points.  Connor Montgomery, Ionia MI, won the boys cougar race with a time of 15:47.80.   

 

 

North Port Invitational, FL - Photos | US#9 Kathryn Fluehr left dust in her wake as she smoked a 17:18 course record that left even her sister Erica sitting back in 2nd at 18:02.  Full summary here.

 

 

Spanish River Invitational, FL - Ryan Pickering blazed past US#11 Armando Del Valle with a time of 14:58 with Del Valle 7 seconds back.  The course is slightly different from past years, but the time is a record for the current configuration.  Check for further details here

 

 

Stanford Invitational, CA - MileSplit.us ON-SITE | US#6 Ammar Moussa rolled to an impressive victory, winning the Varsity boys seeded race with a time of 14:37.  Teammate Sergio Gonzalez was 2nd in 14:58.  Arcadia rolled over everybody with a winning point score of 33 points and a 15:16 average.  Catrina McAlister, Arcadia, won the Varsity girls seeded race with a time of 17:16 to earn a big victory.  Jesuit OR girls won the team title with 99 points and a 18:47 average.  Photos coming soon!   Meet Summary

 


Bowdoin Park Classic
, NY - CBA (NJ) escaped with a narrow victory over Pembroke (MA) with a score of 52 to 55.  Mike Mazzaccaro led CBA with the individual win in a time of 16:03.40.  Edward Owens was 2nd in 16:05.89.  Aisling Cuffe continued her winning ways, running 17:54.29 to stay clear of 2nd place by nearly 2 minutes!  Guilderland won the team title iwth 91 points.



Green Mt. Lake Invitational, NY - ArmoryTrack.com ON-SITE | Over 50 schools head to Lakeside Park in Pawling for the Green Mt. Invitational, a preview of the NY State Championship course.  North Rockland, Arlington, Shenendehowa, Queensbury, and Canadaigua will all face off in the girls seeded race.  The seeded boys race will feature Geneseo, Walt Whitman, Arlington, Queensbury, and Shaker, among others.

 

 

Nike Pre-Nationals, OR - US#10 Nathan Weitz scored the fastest time of the day from the Division 2 Varsity boys race with a clocking of 15:17.88 with a winning margin of 1:04.  He was in the race to assist his team in winning an invitational, which they did with 5 scorers in the top-33.  In the Jim Danner Boys Champs race Ryan Urie, CA, won with a time of 15:18.54 over Jantzen Oshier, CA, who clocked in at 15:19.21.  Trabuco Hills CA boys won with 5 in the top-30.  US#4 Molly Grabill, CA, rolled along in the Jim Danner Girls Champs race with a time of 17:42.84.  The Redondo Union CA girls put 5 scores in the top-14 finishers in the girls race.  

 


PIAA Foundation, PA - MileSplit.us ON-SITE | Sara Sargent Interview | Leah Anne Wirfel Interview | O'Hara Interview | Girls Blue: Forest Hills Leah Anne Wirfel defended her PIAA Foundation title, beating Central Cambria's Kendall Seymour to the line by 40 yards. Time in the 19's. Race temp was 78 degrees.  Girls Gold: Pennsbury soph Sara Sargent(US#10) posted a time of 18:51 (unofficial), and led Pennridge junior Victoria Gerlach (18:58 unofficial) and Council Rock North senior Lindsay Rheiner (in low 19's).  Pennsbury ran away with the team title with 78 points.  Boys Blue: Saegertown junior Nate Tallada - a two-time AA state medalist on the course - captured the race after emerging from a four-man battle.  Boys Gold: Whitehall senior Matt Kacyon defended his PIAA Foundation title, holding off Boyertown junior Brett Kelly Cardinal O'Hara looked strong, placing five in top 20, winning with 39 points and a 34 second 1-5 spread!

 

 

Culver Academies Invitational, IN - US#5 Futsum Zeinasellassie, rocked a 14:50 for 5000 meters to get a huge win versus US#7 Chris Walden, (3rd in 15:03) and US#13 Zach Wills (5th in 15:09).  John Mascari, IN, finished 2nd with a time of 15:00 to also upset some ranked runners and James Martin, IN, was 4th in 15:07.  Harrier #1 Columbus North OH boys rolled to an easy win with 104 points.  Harrier #8 Carmel IN girls won with 86 points.  Chanli Mundy, Terre Haute North IN, won the girls individual title with a time of 18:09 over Waverly Neer, Culver IN, who was a close 2nd in 18:10.   
 

 

Roy Griak Invitational, MN - Adam Zutz, St. Francis, won the boys gold race with a time of 15:52.68Madison West won the team title with a score of 177 points.  Flotrack LIVE coverage


Carlisle Invitational, PA - PennTrackXC.com ON-SITE | Martin Hehir Interview | Wade Endress Interview | Leigha Anderson Interview | Boys Challenge Race | Girls Challenge Race | Girls Challenge: Cumberland Valley senior Leigha Anderson defended her Carlisle Inv title, going 18:57, with Lower Dauphin freshman DeeDee Shea second. North Allegheny won the team title with 56 points - State College was 2nd with 104, and Lower Dauphin 3rd with 149.  Boys Challenge: Wade Endress took 2nd overall in 15:43.94.  Minus their #5, who is out temporarily, Altoona took 2nd to North Allegheny 114 to 161. North Allegheny's Ryan Gil took 4th overall. Mile-and-a-half leader Quinn Devlin of Downingtown West was 5th. Washingtonville NY senior Martin Hehir won the Challenge race in 15:40.39 by 3 seconds.

 

  

Dana Hills Invitational, CA - 22 races starting at 8:00 AM and running every 15 minutes.  Races by grade and division.

 

 

Southwest Classic, MEAbbey Leonardi, Kennebunk ME, won the girls varsity race with a time of 18:40 to easily outdistance Emily Durgin, Cheverus ME, who ran 19:25 for 2nd.  Photos, race footage, and interviews coming later right here!

 

 

Maymont X-Country Festival, VA - Photos | Harrier #10 Tatnall DE girls ran very impressively, scoring just 48 points with 5 scorers in the top-18 overall to win the invitational girls race.  Harrier #20 Green Hope NC was 2nd with 74 points and Harrier #24 Blacksburg VA was 3rd with 98 points.  Megan Lacy, Cherokee VA, won the race with a time of 17:58 while Tatnall's Haley Pierce was 2nd in 18:12.  Harrier #24 Blacksburg VA boys won the invitational boys race with 79 points.  Derek Armstrong, Western Albermarle, won the boys race with a time of 15:58.  Meet Preview

New Balance Ocean State Invite
, RI - Full Summary | Huge early season meet for the Northeast attracts athletes and teams from RI, MA, NY, CT, and ME.



Bob Firman Invite, ID - US#17 Katie Knight (WA) won a duel with US#19 Emily Nist (ID) in the girls elite race with a clocking of 18:02.8.  Ogden UT girls won the team title with 82 points over Davis UT and Park City UT.  In the boys elite race Davis UT upset North Central WA and Lewis and Clark WA with a total of 65 points.  Dallin Farnsworth, Highland ID, won the individual title with a time of 15:26.



Milaca Mega Meet, MNStillwater, MN boys won the AAAA boys varsity race with 60 points off of a 16:36.3 team average.  Tom Linner lead the team with a first place finish in 16:03.9.
