Spring Valley third in heat, 3:26 - finished sixth after another team disqualified
NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Spring Valley's 4x400-meter relay team finished third in its section and sixth overall out of 34 teams in the emerging elite 
race.
Meredith Kilburn finished sixth in the 5,000-meter run in 17 minutes, 48.13 seconds. Kilburn told scrunners.com this is her first time running on a banked track. Elizabeth Dawson finished 25th in 18 minutes, 24 seconds.
Andre Ivankovic finished 22nd in the 5,000-meter run (15:18) with Sage Kosiorek 30th (15:31).

Porter-Gaud's Brent Demarest finished 11th-overall at New Balance Nationals in the Emerging Elite two mile. Demarest was second in his section with a time of 9 minutes, 33.05 seconds.
Zachary Taylor won his heat of the Emerging Elite 400-meter dash in 50.85 seconds, good for 20th overall.
