Historic Van Cortlandt Park XC Course hit hard by Sandy

"XC Course is in terrible condition with a dozen major trees down!" says Jan Mitchell, a NY resident. MileSplit is thinking of all the affected people left in the wake of Sandy, and a speedy recovery to all. With the Foot Locker Northeast Championships slated for the Saturday after Thanksgiving, it seems as though a major task lies ahead to prep the course.
