While the beginning of the day was just a continuation of the dismal weather of the first day with the constant rain, things started to clear up by mid day for an excellent afternoon for running.

Riverside(California) North High School athletes Chaunte Howard,Tanicka Ward, Tracee Thomas, Ashlee Brown and Bridget Williams have committed to our meet. They were National Champions in the 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400 at outdoor nationals.
Bill Meador capped off an excellent high school running career as he placed 4th in the 3200meter race at the Group AAA Outdoor Track State meet. His time of 9:23 was a new school recordwhich was just added to the long list of records and honors Meador
A year ago, Guy Alton was just your average runner as he was a sophomore for Varina High School with bests of a 4:45 mile and 10:24 2 mile. Fast forward a year later today, Alton is a state champion 1600 meter runner and is running for New Kent HS.
If you were to first meet Louisa County 800m star Steve Carlson in person, you\'d be probably be quite surprised that a runner who is just a beast on the track and seems to always be tracking down victims is actually quite a nice guy in person.
