NEW YORK CITY (April 27, 2011) – Eleven high school track stars, including eight who have run fast enough to currently be ranked among the Top 3 in the country at distances ranging from 100 meters to 3200 meters, have been added to the fields for the High School Dream Mile and Dream 100 at the adidas Grand Prix on June 11, meet organizers and adidas have announced.

Devonte Davis, a 6-foot-4, 193 pound senior from Galena Park North Shore High, has the physical make-up and raw talent to excel at whatever he does. He has demonstrated that throughout his four years at the Texas school, earning a full scholarship to play football this fall as a wide receiver at Division I program UNLV and establishing himself as one of the leading triple-jumpers in the country.

Jason Rouser has always dreamed big. As a kid he watched Carl Lewis win four golds in the Olympics and decided that he wanted to see Olympic gold himself one day. In the 1996 Atlanta Games, as part of the 4x400 relay team, he finally realized that goal. Now he is helping kids to set high goals and understand the discipline it takes to achieve them. And he's still got wheels! He says he can still beat the kids and showed off his skills last week in a Coaches 4x100, earning him the respect of the current generation of runners and spectators.
Loyola boys take 4x1600, Xavier Prep girls win 4x800, US#1 4x2 for LBP girls. Gunnar Nixon (Santa Fe, OK) returned to Arcadia for his second win in the Decathlon with a record setting 7577.
We're baaaaaaack!! And after looking at the changes to the stadium, better than ever. It has been a long two years but worth the wait. We all have heard the statement, "show me the money", look around and you will see it. Richland District Two has made Harry Parone Stadium nicer than most small college stadiums.

Octavious Freeman is one of the greatest high school sprinters of all-time. She has only lost once at 100 meters in Florida duing her four year high school career, two years ago at the Florida Relays. In her senior year, at the same event she would have none of that, blazing past the field in a season best of 11.28. Her dad Stanley Smith, who is also her coach, says he was pleased with her performance.
