Meet Information
Organized by West Chester Henderson runner Steve Jordan, the July 4th Fatiha Khattabi Memorial 5k Run/Walk marks the first year of this annual race to honor the memory of Fatiha Khattabi, the mother of his friend and teammate, Achraf Khattabi. Fatiha lost her battle against stomach cancer in the fall of 2009 during the cross country season.
All proceeds will be donated to helping pay for medication that reduces nausea at the Cancer Center of Chester County, where Mrs. Khattabi received treatment.
The race is at 9:30. Registration is at the Henderson High School Track, $25 to register. There will be a limited number of t-shirts for sale. the race will be timed using Disposable Champion Chip Timing System.
