Masai Russell, the 2015, 2017 and 2018 ISL/MAC Championship champion in the 300m hurdles, had long shown her strength in the long hurdle races throughout her high school career.
But in 2018, as she concluded her final lap as a Bullis School (MD) bulldog, Russell had one of her best performances overall, posting a time of 40.70 seconds in the 300mH at the Bullis Bulldog Invitational.
From the start of the race, Russell got out of her starting blocks aggressively and won the race by almost two seconds over Adriana Schockley of Western Branch.
